Demisch Danant will present selected works by Pierre Paulin from the 1960s through the early 1980s. The exhibition will include rare pieces designed for Artifort, Mobilier National, including pieces from his 1972 project for the Palais de L'Elysee, as well as examples of private commissions.

Pierre Paulin is one of the most important designers from the 20th century. Paulin is perhaps most known for his innovative designs for Artifort in the early 1960s, but Paulin was also highly influential and involved in French design in the late 1960s through the 70s as well - a rich period in French culture when artists and designers were inspired to create with a utopic vision.
