Jacques Dumond was one of the first in France to use glass as a material in furniture making as early as 1953. His innovations with glass had a tremendous impact on a new generation of young designers in France. From his influence you see a new wave of glass furniture follow, including the iconic Philippon & Lecoq glass desk from 1960
