Interplay II
Demisch Danant X TIVIOLI
New York Edition
October 10th–17th
10AM–6PM
Demisch Danant and TIVIOLI are pleased to announce Interplay II, the continuation of a collaboration initiated during the last edition of Salone del Mobile in Milan. From October 10–17, the historic artisanal outerwear Italian luxury house TIVIOLI will present a selection from its Fall-Winter 2026/2027 one-of-a-kind pieces, in New York at Demisch Danant, within the context of the gallery’s current exhibition, Studio Visits: Creative Spaces and Collected Lives.
Inspired by the creative spaces, personal collections, and spirit of discovery that have shaped Demisch Danant’s vision since its earliest days, Studio Visits brings together furniture, sculpture, photography, works on paper, lighting, maquettes, prototypes, and vernacular objects; and considers the studio and the collected interior as spaces in which hierarchies and categories often give way to unexpected relationships between objects.
Interplay II extends that idea into fashion, echoing TIVIOLI’s own interest in the ways creative disciplines overlap within lived environments. The collaboration places fashion alongside furniture, art, and collected objects, reflecting a shared interest in how taste is formed through unexpected combinations, personal histories, and the act of discovery.
"This collaboration is a natural continuation of our first project together. In Milan, we hosted Demisch Danant and introduced their work to our audience who share a similar sensibility and an interest in discovering galleries, design, craftsmanship, and objects with a strong point of view,” said Clemente Tivioli, TIVIOLI’s Creative Director. “For TIVIOLI, the finished object is always connected to the broader culture around it: how things are made, collected, worn, lived with, and placed in relation to one another. This approach resonates with the premise of Studio Visits, where art, design, and functional objects coexist within layered and highly personal environments.”
“We are pleased to host TIVIOLI in New York and continue this exchange,” added Suzanne Demisch, cofounder of Demisch Danant. “Studio Visits feels especially relevant to the way TIVIOLI moves between fashion, collecting, art, and interiors. We share the belief that objects gain meaning through the environments in which they are encountered and through the personal histories that accumulate around them.”
Interplay II continues an exchange between two distinct but complementary disciplines, reflecting the broader premise of Studio Visits: that discovery often happens when categories loosen and objects are allowed to enter unexpected conversation.
“The environment in which the clothes are presented is very important to us,” added Tivioli. “We do not see garments as isolated products, but as objects that should exist within a space coherent with their identity. At Demisch Danant, the collection can be experienced in a setting where it feels naturally at home—in dialogue with the furniture, objects, materials, and atmosphere around it.”
Visitors will be invited to view and try on the collection and to meet members of the TIVIOLI team, who will be present throughout the presentation.
