Sheila Hicks originally completed her monumental tapestries at the Ford Foundation in 1967. Throughout the years the work was irreversibly damaged prompting Hicks to, "roll up her sleeves and assemble a team." The process to remake the tapestries took over a year and will be unveiled at a private reception on October 8, 2014.
